Project Title: ‘Safer Spaces for Women and Girls’

Role: Director and Producer

Brief: As part of Transport for London’s (TfL) ‘Ending Violence Against Women and Girls’ initiative, I was commissioned to lead a content-led research expansion for the Safer Spaces for women and girls project. While initial stakeholder consultations had captured the perspectives of those over 25, there was a critical strategic gap in reaching the 18–25 demographic.I spearheaded the production of a short documentary designed to bridge this gap. I curated a specialised production team to capture high-fidelity studio interviews, on location cinematography at Canning Town Train and Bus Station, and custom drone footage to provide a sense of scale and environment. To elevate the emotional resonance of the piece, I commissioned a spoken word artist to provide a thematic voice over. By identifying key recurring themes from the initial interviews, Modification, Desensitisation, and Change, I structured a content framework that functioned as both a long-form documentary and a series of high impact, short-form assets for social distribution.

Deliverables: 1 short documentary and 4 short form videos
